Milzkalns is the first linear cableway system wakeboard park in Latvia. Basically, the wakeboard is being pulled by a cable, not a boat. There are two poles across the pond, between which the cable is stretched and from which an electric motor tows the riders to and fro. When the turn is made around the buoy at the end of the pond, the direction of movement is changed without stopping. If you fall, there is no need to swim back to the start —the operator will raise the handle and the fun can continue. The operator also adjusts the speed and the movement of the cable, so this system is appropriate both for beginners and children, as well as for expert wakeboarders. We have prepared different structures for performing various tricks for experienced riders. Only one person can be on the course at a time. The time can be divided several ways —we recommend using a one hour ride for 3 - 4 persons. While one person is riding, the rest can play beach volleyball, barbecue, take photos of the wakeboarder or simply relax.
