A great opportunity for outdoor recreation with friends - a paddle down from Cēsis to Līgatne. You simply leave your cars at the finish point in Līgatne and we’ll take you to the route’s starting point and the trip can begin! You will then be free to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Gauja’s twists and turns and the beauty of nature all around you.

A boat ride between 4 - 6 hours long on the River Gauja from Cēsis to Līgatne for between two to three people, fully equipped.

No age restrictions.
Equipment provided - Life jackets for both adults and small children.
Recommended equipment - comfortable clothes.

How to get there
Take the Pleskavas road A2 to Līgatne, pass the railway tracks, take the first left turn, and follow the signs leading to ”Kanoe kempings”.
