Do you know that Riga was initially located on an island? A lot has changed since then, but even today you can travel around Old Riga by boat. An absolutely different city is revealed to you from a boat —there are no traffic jams or daily hustle and bustle. You’re surrounded by water and parks, and the city seems to take a step back.
We offer you the possibility to rent comfortable tourism kayaks and view the classical panorama of Riga from the Daugava River, seeing many of Riga’s bridges up close, enjoying the city, parks and the multicoloured string of lights of the illuminated architectural monuments, all from the city channel at night. You can also see the Bastejkalns and Kronvalda parks on the route. The stories of the accompanying guide will make the trip especially exciting.
